At the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defense College, as part of the “Ushqyr oı alańy” project, a debate was held on the topic “Bilekti birdi jyǵady, bilimdi myńdy jyǵady.”

The main goal of the event was to develop students’ critical thinking skills, improve their public speaking abilities, and help them learn to freely express their own opinions and defend them with sound reasoning.

During the debate, participants demonstrated their knowledge, presented convincing arguments, and showed respect for their opponents’ views. In addition, the students shared their thoughts and, by discussing various perspectives, emphasized the importance of knowledge and logical thinking.

The folk saying “Bilekti birdi jyǵady, bilimdi myńdy jyǵady” conveys the idea that a person’s true strength lies not only in physical power, but also in knowledge, wisdom, and depth of thought.

Such educational events contribute to the development of young people’s intellectual potential and help shape active, well-informed, and well-rounded individuals.
