From September 18 to 27, 2026, the World Kickboxing Championships for Cadets and Juniors were held in Lido di Jesolo, Italy.

            Maksim Alekseev, a student in group FK-32A at the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defense College, demonstrated a high level of skill and won the gold medal, becoming the world champion. Based on his performance, he also met the requirements for the title of Master of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan (International Class).

            On his way to victory, Maxim fought three bouts, facing opponents from Ukraine, Poland, and Switzerland. His bout against the Polish athlete was particularly impressive; Maxim ended it with a knockout in the very first round.
