“No Filters: The Price of Choice”

On June 5, 2026, students from the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defense College participated in the youth anti-drug forum “No Filters: The Price of Choice,” which was held at the “Dostar” Palace of Culture in Kokshetau. The forum brought together about 350 students and was aimed at preventing drug-related offenses, fostering a responsible attitude toward health among young people, and developing a conscious approach to life choices.

The forum was moderated by representatives of the Police Department, as well as members of the Council for the Prevention of Drug-Related Offenses. They ensured that the event took the form of an open dialogue geared toward a youth audience.

The main idea of the forum was to have an honest conversation with young people without lecturing, analyzing real-life situations and their consequences.

            Forum Speakers:

·          Aset Sagynaevich Baizholov — public figure, member of the 7th Kokchetav Maslikhat, creator of the board game “JETI QAZYNA.”

·          Bekmagambetova Sulushash Kapeskyzy — Head of the Rehabilitation Department at the Center for Social and Psychological Assistance to People with Addictions.

·          Gulnara Kakenovna Orazbayeva — Director of the “Zerdeli Urpak” Youth Public Association.

·          Erbol Erkinovich Amantaev — UNICEF Coordinator for Volunteer Development.

·          Kuanysh Zhaidarbekovich Mukushev — blogger, media specialist, and founder of the SMM agency INFLUENCE PROMOTION.

·          Vadim Igorevich Pashkurlat — athlete, world champion, and public figure.

During the forum, the speakers discussed with the youth issues related to peer influence, personal responsibility, and the consequences of using illicit substances. The students actively participated in interactive activities, asked questions, and shared their opinions.

Holding such events contributes to the development of a culture of lawfulness among young people and the promotion of healthy lifestyle values.
