On May 28, 2026, the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defense College hosted a literary, dramatic, and musical evening titled “Abaıǵa aq júrekpen,” dedicated to the work of the great Kazakh poet and thinker Abay Kunanbayev. G.E. Ibraeva and S.S. Usina, faculty members of the Pedagogical Disciplines Department, organized the event.

            The event was aimed at promoting Abay’s spiritual legacy among young people. During the evening, the audience learned about the poet’s childhood, watched theatrical performances, listened to Abay’s songs and kuys, and gained a deeper appreciation for the profound meaning of his philosophical works and “Words of Admonition”. The dramatic performance “Abaı men Toǵjan” and the joint performance of the song “Jelsiz túnde jaryq aı” created a special atmosphere. The evening was a vibrant and meaningful event that gave guests spiritual inspiration and the opportunity to once again connect with Abay’s great legacy.
