On April 28, 2026, at the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defense College, Deputy Director for Information Technology D.H. Alzhanova led an interactive event titled “The Digital World” for first-year students.

            In the format of a practical workshop, participants explored how to effectively use digital tools and artificial intelligence in everyday life and the learning process. The focus was on key areas: information literacy and, particularly relevant today, cybersecurity.

            During the event, students learned how to determine the reliability of information, identify fake content, assess data security, and correct errors made by artificial intelligence, and they presented their arguments. The practical exercises demonstrated that critical thinking is a key skill in today’s digital world.
