On April 23, 2026, the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defense College hosted a discussion on the topic “Children’s Literature: A Starting Point for Books.” Students from groups PMNO-42A and RL-12 actively participated in the event.
The event was aimed at fostering an interest in reading and understanding the role of children’s literature in personal development. As part of the meeting, an exhibition of children’s books was organized, featuring both classic and contemporary titles.
During the discussion, participants addressed pressing issues such as the significance of children’s literature, its impact on the development of a reading culture, and the distinctive features of contemporary publications. A special focus was placed on the discussion forum, which allowed participants to exchange views and personal experiences. The practical component included exercises designed to analyze book content and foster creative thinking.
The event demonstrated the importance of introducing children to reading from an early age and highlighted the role of children’s books as the foundation for fostering a lasting interest in literature.
