On April 22, 2026, a meeting was held at the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defense College between group advisors and a theologian from the “Center for the Analysis and Development of Interfaith Relations” at the Akmola Region Department of Religious Affairs.

            During the event, the center’s theologian, Saken Bagdatovich Zhakhanov, conducted an informational session on identifying signs indicating students’ potential interest in the ideas of religious extremism and terrorism. Group advisors were given practical recommendations on monitoring student behavior and effectively organizing preventive measures.

            In addition, participants were briefed on the key points of the Model Algorithm for Interagency Cooperation in the Prevention of Juvenile Involvement in Religious Extremism and Terrorism.

            Holding such events helps foster a safe educational environment and enables the timely identification of potential risks among young people.
