From March 17 to 20, 2026, regional basketball competitions among technical, vocational, and post-secondary educational institutions were held in the village of Zerenda as part of the “Kezen” regional sports festival.

            In these sports competitions, the women’s team from the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defense College achieved excellent results and took first place in the overall team standings.

            In the individual categories:

• Elizaveta Zotova (ChS-42A) was named “Best Player”;
• Maria Gromak (FC-12B) took first place in the “Top Scorer” category.

            The team was coached by Anastasia Vyacheslavovna Zanina, a lecturer in the Department of Physical Education and Sports.

            The team representative is Mergen Kokanovich.
