On March 18, 2026, the Department of Pedagogical Disciplines at the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defense College organized a meaningful and highly educational festive event titled “Nauryz - The Golden Pillar of Traditions and Customs!” as part of the unified educational program “Adal Azamat. Adal Enbek.”
The event began with a performance by dombra players, who demonstrated the spiritual richness of the Kazakh people through the resonant melodies of the kúı. The melodies of the kúı touched the hearts of the audience and left a lasting impression.
In addition, during the event, each group presented creative performances, showcasing various Kazakh traditions through stage productions. In particular, the audience was treated to such rituals as the bride’s send-off, betashar, the tea ceremony for the new bride, the naming ceremony accompanied by the azan, placing the baby in the cradle, and the ritual of cutting the cords. Their educational significance was thoroughly explored.
This festive event made a significant contribution to the development of students’ creative abilities, the fostering of respect for national values, and the strengthening of unity and friendship.
