On March 17, 2026, the Department of Physical Education, Sports, and BMTT at the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defense College organized and conducted a demonstration session on the national games – Toǵyz qumalaq and Asyq atý – as part of the implementation of the plan of events dedicated to the celebration of Nauryz.

            The purpose of the event was to promote national traditions, foster interest in the cultural heritage of the Kazakh people, and instill in students a respectful attitude toward national values.

            During the event, faculty members from the department demonstrated the rules and nuances of the games, while students actively participated in the training, showing interest, agility, and a desire to learn national sports.

            Holding such events helps to strengthen patriotic spirit, promote physical activity, and preserve cultural heritage among young people.
