In the city of Kokshetau, as part of the city sports competition “Sunkar,” volleyball competitions were held among women's teams from technical, vocational, and post-secondary educational institutions. Eight teams from colleges in the city of Kokshetau took part in these sports competitions.

            The team from the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defense College took first place and became the city champions.

            The following students were also recognized in individual categories:

• “Best Forward” – Bolat Zhansaya (DT-41);
• “Best Player of the Tournament” – Taylakpai Altynai (PMNO-22A).

            The team was trained by Aidarkhan Kuanysh Sabyrkhanuly, a lecturer at the Department of Physical Education and sports.
