On March 2, 2026, as part of the implementation of the republican education program “Adal Azamat. Adal Enbek” and the month-long campaign “Law and Order,” a meeting was held at the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defense College between students and an employee of the Drug Enforcement Administration of the Akmola Region Police Department, Police Lieutenant Colonel Kursanova R.T.

            During the event, a preventive talk was held on the topic of “Drug Prevention: Responsibility and Consequences.” A representative of law enforcement agencies explained to students the issues of administrative and criminal liability for the illegal trafficking, storage, and distribution of narcotic drugs, as well as the consequences of their use for health, studies, and future professional activities. Particular attention was paid to preventing young people from becoming involved in illegal activities, the responsibility for participating in the distribution of prohibited substances through social networks and messengers, as well as the legal consequences of being placed on record.

            The meeting took the form of an open dialogue, with students actively asking questions and receiving competent explanations. Holding such events contributes to the formation of a legal culture and the prevention of offences among students.
