From February 24 to 27, 2026, regional basketball competitions among technical and vocational post-secondary education institutions were held in Shchuchinsk as part of the regional Kezen sports competition.

            In these sports competitions, the team of young men from the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defense College showed high results and took 2nd place in the overall team standings.

            In individual nominations:

• Bolat Khan Darhan, a student of group ChS-22S, was recognized in the “Best Defender” nomination.
• Sergey Stepanov, a student of group FK-32A, took first place in the “Sniper” nomination.

            The team was trained by Anastasia Vyacheslavovna Zannina, a lecturer at the Department of Physical Education and IMTT.

            The team representative was Mergen Kokanovich Kokhan.
