On February 25, 2026, the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defense College held a poetry evening entitled “Zhyr – Zhurek Uni” with the participation of first-year students.

            The purpose of the event was to foster respect for the written word, develop expressive reading skills, and instill national values in young people.

            The event featured works by outstanding Kazakh poets such as Zhambyl Zhabayev, Saken Seifullin, Mukagali Makataev, and other authors whose works celebrate the ideas of humanism, unity, and friendship among peoples.
