On February 17, 2026, a lecture on “Terrorism and Extremism” was held at the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defense College.

            The event was conducted by specialists from the Center for Analysis and Development of Interfaith Relations of the Department for Religious Affairs of the Akmola Region.

            The following speakers addressed the students:

            - Akmara Sanzybaevna Nurgaliyeva, specialist at the Center for Anti-Terrorism and Counter-Extremism (CATCE);

            - Rustem Muratovich Koshmagambetov, specialist at the CATCE.

            During the meeting, issues related to the prevention of terrorism and extremism, increasing religious literacy, and strengthening interfaith harmony among young people were discussed. Students actively participated in the discussion and received answers to their questions.
