On February 9, 2026, in the city of Kokshetau, at the M. Zhumabaev Akmola Regional Universal Scientific Library, a literary and educational event entitled “Bir oleni – bir eldin murasindai” was held, dedicated to the birthday of the outstanding Kazakh poet Muqagali Makataev.

            The event was attended by students of the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defense College groups OK-11B, EK-11, BM-11, as well as college teachers Shakhtai A.M., Rakhimzhan K.O., and Kairova A.Zh.

            During the event, the life and literary heritage of Muqagali Makataev were presented. Particular attention was paid to the spiritual and moral values reflected in the poet's work.
