From January 28 to 30, 2026, as part of the city sports competition “Sunkar,” city competitions in cross-country skiing and the Winter Presidential Multi-Event were held among students of technical and vocational education institutions in the Akmola region. The team from the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defense College demonstrated a high level of training and achieved brilliant results in these competitions.

            In the Winter Presidential Multi-Event, Valeria Gerasimova (FK-42A) won the individual competition among girls, and Tolegen Adil (TZh-21B) won among boys.

            In the women's ski races, the top places were taken by Ramina Pershukova, a student in group FK-32A (2nd place), and Valeria Gerasimova, a student in group FK-42A (3rd place), while in the relay race, the team consisting of Ramina Pershukova (FK-32A), Veronika Smirnova (FK-42A), and Valeria Gerasimova (FK-42A), the team became the champion. Among the boys, Viktor Skornyakov, a student of group FK-32C (2nd place), and Tolegen Adil, a student of group TZh-21B (3rd place), distinguished themselves in the individual competition and also won the relay race.

            As a result of the competition, the HMCDC team took 1st place in the overall team standings in cross-country skiing and the Winter Presidential Multi-Event.
