On January 25, 2026, a national competition in air rifle shooting and partial disassembly and assembly of Kalashnikov assault rifles was held at Secondary School No. 8 in Kokshetau among instructors of basic military and technical training. Representatives from Akmola, North Kazakhstan, Kostanay, Almaty, and other regions took part in the competition.

            At the end of the tournament, R.M. Kuzdeubaev, a teacher at the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defense College, took third place.
