On December 19, 2025, the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defense College held events aimed at preventing drug addiction among students and improving the preventive skills of teachers.
As part of the event, a meeting was held with first-year students with the participation of the senior operative officer of the Police Department's Anti-Drug Crime Division, Police Lieutenant Colonel Kursanova R.T., and psychologist Alzhanova A.T. from the Senim Rehabilitation Center. During the open dialogue, the consequences of using narcotic and psychoactive substances, their impact on health, behavior, and life prospects of young people were discussed. Real-life examples helped students develop a conscious and responsible attitude towards their own choices.
A training seminar was also organized for curators and teachers, which examined modern forms of chemical dependency, legal aspects of combating drug crime, and provided practical recommendations for early detection of risks among students. Such events contribute to strengthening the college's preventive work and creating a safe educational environment.
