On October 29, 2025, the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defense College held a grand opening ceremony for its new Student Dormitory No. 2. The ceremony was attended by the head of the Akmola Region Education Department, Baltasheva Ainagul Kydyrbaevna, representatives of Nurbank JSC, and the college's social partners.  

            The event was opened with a welcoming speech by the college president, Kasym Shokan Zhanatuly, who emphasized the significance of this event. Ainagul Kydyrbaevna Baltasheva, head of the Akmola Region Education Department, also gave a speech.

            The college president and the head of the Education Department ceremoniously cut the symbolic ribbon, officially launching the new dormitory.

            The festive atmosphere of the event was enhanced by a performance by an instrumental ensemble. Guests toured the living quarters, familiarized themselves with the living conditions, and met with Miras Toksanbayev, a student in the PB-42A group, who showed heroism in rescuing three children from a fire. Miras was awarded a state award for his feat. As a token of gratitude, the head of the Education Department, Baltasheva Ainagul Kydyrbaevna, presented him with a laptop and a letter of appreciation, wishing him success in his studies and a bright future. Representatives of Nurbank JSC also presented commemorative souvenirs.

            The event was a great success. The opening of the new dormitory is an important step towards ensuring comfortable living conditions for students and improving the quality of the educational process.
