On October 17, 2025, a curatorial hour was held at the HMCDC in group PV-12 on the topic “Legal responsibility for participation in drop-out schemes” with the participation of a guest specialist - Halyk Bank manager A.E. Kospan. During the meeting, students were explained the essence of this dangerous phenomenon associated with the transfer or sale of personal bank cards and data to third parties for illegal activities.
Kospan A.E. emphasized that involvement in drop shipping schemes may seem like “easy money,” but in reality often leads to criminal liability. The bank manager spoke in detail about the methods used by fraudsters to recruit young people - through messengers, social networks, and advertisements, offering to issue a card or “lend” it for supposedly safe purposes.
At the end of the meeting, participants discussed how to avoid becoming a victim of fraudsters, what to look out for when receiving suspicious offers, and who to contact in case of doubt. The curatorial hour took the form of a live dialogue, aroused the interest of students, and contributed to improving their legal and financial literacy.
