On October 1, 2025, the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defense College held a chess tournament for first- to fourth-year students as part of the HMCDC Sports League program. More than 30 students took part in the competition.

            The results of the tournament among the boys were as follows:

• 1st place – Nurymuly Dauken (OK-41B);
• 2nd place – Solovchuk Kirill (OT-12);
• 3rd place – Bakhyt Nuralmaz (TJ-11A);

            The winners among the girls were:

• 1st place – Naila Asylova (ChS-1-25);
• 2nd place – Sabina Kurman (DOV-22);
• 3rd place – Daria Belitskaya (FK-12A);
