On September 29, 2025, a national scientific and practical conference entitled “30th Anniversary of the The Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan: Experience and Prospects for the Development of the Kazakh Model of Interethnic Tolerance” was held in Astana at the House of Friendship. The event was organized by the Institute for Applied Ethnopolitical Research, with which the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defence College of has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
The first to deliver a welcoming speech was Yevgeny Kochetov, Deputy Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In his report, he emphasized the importance of strengthening social harmony and unity, focusing on the tasks outlined in the Address of President K. Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan.
Among the participants of the conference was Shaikhina Gulzhanar Zhaksylykovna, Deputy Director of the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defence College for Educational Work. In her report, “Strengthening Unity and Interethnic Harmony among Young People: The College's Experience,” she shared the institution's practical achievements and experience in educating students based on the values of tolerance and mutual respect.
