On September 24, 2025, a meeting between students and representatives of the police and the Department of Religious Affairs was held at the HMCDC. The main topic of the meeting was to explain the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in particular the amendments concerning the ban on wearing clothing that completely covers the face, as well as other regulations aimed at ensuring public safety.
The speakers were Rustem Koshmagambetov, a specialist from the Information and Public Relations Department of the Department of Religious Affairs, and Nurzhan Amangeldy, a police captain and representative of the Kokshetau City Police Department.
The guests emphasized the importance of complying with current legislation, broadening young people's legal horizons, and the significance of the principle of a secular state. Students received answers to their questions, discussed the role of religion in society and its social aspects, as well as new legislative changes.
Holding such meetings contributes to the formation of legal literacy, the development of critical thinking, and the education of law-abiding citizens. The Higher Multidisciplinary College of Civil Defense expresses its gratitude to law enforcement agencies and specialists for holding a meaningful and useful meeting.
