From April 21 to 25, 2025, the Department of Civil Defence at the HMCDC held the Department Week — an annual event aimed at enhancing the professional skills of teachers, fostering students' cognitive and creative activity, supporting talented youth, and encouraging students' participation in Olympiads, research projects, and scientific conferences.
The Department Week program included:
- April 21 — official opening ceremony of the Department Week;
- April 22 — practical conference «Profession Through Science»;
- April 23–24 — subject Olympiad among 4th-year students majoring in «Emergency Protection», as well as the intellectual investment game CASHFLOW;
- April 25 — official closing ceremony of the Department Week.
At the conclusion of the events, active participants were awarded certificates and diplomas.
