From April 4 to 6, 2025, the Shotokan Karate-do World Cup was held, which gathered more than 700 participants from 12 countries. 

Students of the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defence College Likhach Vladislav (group FC-22C), Ruslan Nikolenko (group FC-32A) and Sutbaev Asanali (group PB-32B) worthily represented their country and region, showing a high level of preparation and taking prizes at these competitions.
