On February 20, 2025, the library of the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defence College hosted the Challenge ‘Ulttyq rýhtyń shyraǵy’, organised as part of the project ‘Balalar kitaphanasy’ of the programme ‘Birtutas tárbıe’. The organisers were deputy director for educational work Shaykhina G.Zh., head of the library Bajanova T.K. and history teacher Oralova M.B.  

Students of groups TZh-11B, TZh-11A, OK-11B, TZh-21A and OK-11A took part in the Challenge.

The event was dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the outstanding Kazakh writer, winner of the State Prize of the Kazakh SSR Ilyas Esenberlin, who made a huge contribution to the development of Kazakh literature. As part of the Challenge, students read the trilogy ‘Nomads’, getting acquainted with the rich history of the Kazakh people.

The event was held in an atmosphere of learning and deep respect for history and allowed students to once again touch the cultural heritage of the Kazakh people.
