On January 21, 2025, curators Mikhailov S.Yu. and Mikhailova S.N. organized an excursion to the specialized fire department No. 2 in Kokshetau for students of groups ChS-22B-V and PB-22C of the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defence College.

As part of the practical training, the students learnt about different types of basic and special fire trucks, equipment and facilities, which are studied in theoretical classes. In addition, they visited the Disaster Medicine Centre (DMC) located at SFD-No.2 and learned about its activities.

The main task of the Disaster Medicine Centre is to organise work in the emergency zone and provide medical assistance to the injured. The excursion allowed students to get closer acquainted with the professional activities of rescuers and medical specialists, which strengthened their knowledge and interest in their chosen profession.
