November 1, 2024 in HMCDC teacher of the Department of Civil Defence Akinshin N.A. held an open practical training session on the discipline “Training gas smoke defender”, in the framework of classes with the use of active forms of learning activities. The main purpose of the class was to improve the professional readiness of students, consolidate their theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for prompt response and effective firefighting in conditions unfit for breathing.

In the course of the class, students studied key psychophysiological aspects affecting the behavior of a gas smoke defender in extreme conditions, and the issues of safety of his work. Particular attention was paid to psychological aspects of safety management, as well as methods of psychological protection and assistance in emergency situations for the units of the gas and smoke protection service.
