On August 27, 2024, the planning directorate held at the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defence College.

The directorate discussed plans and tasks for the upcoming academic year, including strategic goals and directions.

Special attention was paid to the appointment of a new director, who was introduced by the president of the college, Kassym Shokan Zhanatuly.

Turarov Serikkan Zhenisovich is a highly qualified and experienced specialist in the field of fire safety and civil defence, has been appointed the new director of the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defence College.  

Serikkan Zhenisovich, a colonel in the reserve, is not only an experienced specialist in the field of civil protection, but also in the field of education. For many years, he headed the Kokshetau Technical Institute of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where he established himself as a competent leader and mentor, contributing to the training of highly qualified specialists for emergency situations. 

His long-term experience and professionalism will be an important contribution to the development of the educational institution and improving the quality of training of future specialists.
