From February 13 to 23, 2024, the Winter Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in modern pentathlon was held in Almaty.

The team of Akmola region participated in the championship and took 2nd place in triathlon and 2nd place in biathlon. The team included a student of the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defense College, group FC-32A Raskulov Eric.
