From October 26 to October 29, 2023, the NOMAD MMA World Cup competitions were held in the city of Karaganda. In total, athletes from 12 countries of the near and far abroad participated in the competition.

Moussa Zhasulan, a student of the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defence College, group CHS-42 B, took the honorable 3rd place in the 65 kg weight category.
