On October 18-20, 2023, as part of the city sports competition “Sunkar”, chess competitions were held among students of technical, vocational, and post-secondary education organizations.

The girls' team of the Higher Multidisciplinary College of Civil Defense took the overall team 1st place.

In the individual championship, a student of the ChS-32B group, Nailya Asylova, took 2nd place, and a student of the TZh-41A group, Zhabenova Kundyz, took 3rd place.
