From October 3 to 5, 2022, Kostanay hosted the Kostanay Region Mixed Martial Arts MMA and Mix-fight Championship dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Internal Affairs Bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

A student of the HMCCP group TJ-41G Duisen Adil received an honorable 1st place in the 70 kg weight category.
