On November 25, 2021, an open curatorial hour with the PB-12C group was held on the territory of the СПЧ-2 of the city of Kokshetau of the State Institution "Fire Extinguishing and Emergency Rescue Service" of the Emergency Department of Akmola region in order to popularize the heroic work of firefighters and rescuers, as well as to increase the patriotic spirit of youth: "Firefighter - rescuer is a heroic profession." 

The staff of the unit introduced students to the daily activities of fire and rescue units, how the life of a firefighter-rescuer is organized during service, explained the difficulties firefighters face in their service, and also showed the equipment used by emergency workers during emergency rescue operations.

During the excursion, students were given the opportunity to try on themselves the means of self- and mutual assistance used by rescuers, to learn about modern methods of extinguishing and means of protection in emergency situations.
