On November 16, 2021, a meeting with students "About HIV in simple words" was held at the Higher Multidisciplinary College of Civil Protection.

The speaker of the event, specialist of the Department of preventive work of the AIDS ARC Nurlybek Konuspaev, talked with young people about the stigma and discrimination around such a disease as HIV infection, together with the audience, along the way, analyzing transmission routes and preventive measures, statistics.

The audience listened with interest to the lecturer's material, periodically expressing their opinion on HIV prevention measures and entering into a dialogue with the speaker.

The main outcome of the meeting was the understanding of the importance of responsible behavior of each person in relation to their sexual behavior.

Recall that from November 15 to 25, 2021, Kazakhstan is hosting a decade-long event on the topic "HIV: hear everyone!". The center holds two contests for the best open lesson and a story on the social network Instagram.
