From October 25 to November 6, 2021, the 21st World Boxing Championship was held in Belgrade at the Stark Arena.
Kazakhstani Temirtas Zhusupov won the gold medal in the weight category up to 48 kg.
Temirtas is a graduate of our college in 2005-2009, majoring in Physical Culture and Sports. The master of sports of the USSR in boxing, the teacher of physical culture and sports of the higher category - Kurmanov Kenzhebek Kalievich is the first coach and mentor of the champion. Kenzhebek Kalievich was awarded the badge of the Ministry for his contribution to the development of physical culture and sports. He made a significant contribution to the sports career of the gold medalist.
