On September 13, 2021, an internal stage of selection of candidates for the project "TOP100 students of colleges of the Republic of Kazakhstan" was held at the Higher Multidisciplinary College of Civil Protection. A commission was appointed consisting of:
- Tyulebaev Askerbek Zhamantaevich - chairman of the commission
- Pereshivkin Igor Vladimirovich - Deputy Director for educational and scientific work.
- Shaikhina Gulzhanar Zhaksylykovna - Deputy Director for Educational Work
- Ramazanova Umut Kairgeldinovna – Deputy Director for Studies
- Nurbikenova Gulnaz Zhanabaevna – Head of the Department of Pedagogical and General Education Disciplines
- Korneva Olga Sergeevna – head of the pedagogical skills center
7 students took part in the competition: Zhaulybai Әsel ЖББ-41, Poprotskaya Ekaterina НО-32с, Vrublevskaya Victoria ФК-32, Mukhammedkhair Laylim ДОВ-32, Nosova Alina НО-32с, Serikova Kamilla ЧС-42А, Shevlyaev Vladislav ЧС-32С.
The commission evaluated the participants of the competition according to the following criteria:
- presentation of students' achievements (city, regional, republican and international);
- an essay in which the participant tells about himself, and also proposes an idea of his own project for the development of student youth or college, region or country;
- video where the participant presents himself as a future specialist;
- video where the participant covers his active social activities.
Based on the results of the competition, the following students were recommended for the regional stage:

- Mukhammedkhair Laylim ДОВ-32
- Serikova Kamilla ЧС-42а
