In the Akmola region, before the opening of the swimming season, regional rescuers are training public rescuers in techniques and methods of rescuing people in reservoirs, as well as providing first aid to victims, the press service of the Emergency Situations Department of the Akmola region reports.
On the eve of the swimming season, which officially begins from June 1 to August 31, 2021, the Department of Emergency Situations of the Akmola region is working to ensure safety and prevent the death of people in the reservoirs of the Akmola region.
So, in order to ensure safe recreation and bathing of citizens, from May 18 of this year, the rescuers of the operational rescue squad, in accordance with the applications received from representatives of business entities - organizers of places of mass recreation, tourism and sports on water bodies and water facilities located near water bodies, began surveying and cleaning the bottom of the beach water areas designated for swimming and recreation of the population for compliance with safety requirements for swimming and their suitability for use. At the moment, 16 applications have been received for surveying 41 beaches. In the course of beach surveys, the relevant acts of diving survey are issued, as well as practical exercises are held to train public rescuers in techniques and methods of rescuing people in water bodies and providing first aid to victims, in accordance with the guidelines for training rescuers for public rescue posts approved by the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan from June 25, 2016 №193, with the issuance of Certificates of completion of courses for rescuers.
Today, on the Kopa lake, on the basis of the Operational Rescue Detachment, 2-day theoretical and practical training of 4 rescuers - graduates of the Higher Multidisciplinary College of Civil Protection, which, thanks to the Enbek state program, through the Center for Employment of the Population on youth practice, will be able to get a job and work in the summer period of the swimming season at the Public Rescue Posts of Zerendinsky District
