On January 27, 2021, a lecture on the topic "Prevention of HIV infection" was held for students of the Higher Multidisciplinary College of Civil Protection.

Nurlybek Konuspayev, a sociologist at the Akmola Regional Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS, who acted as a lecturer at this event, told the future rescuers about the transmission routes, preventive measures and treatment options for HIV infection.

On this day, the conversation with the students was not only informational, but also debatable.  Thanks to this, such concepts as "HIV" and "AIDS", issues of safe sexual behavior, measures of effective protection against unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections were consolidated.

The most important result of communication with young people was the opinion that people living with HIV have the same rights, like all citizens of Kazakhstan, to receive education, medical services, and employment.  And, of course, a chance for a happy life.
