On the eve of the celebration of the Day of the First President of the country a conference "The Role of the First President - Elbasy in the transformation of Kazakhstan into a nuclear-free state" was held at the Higher Multidisciplinary College of Civil Protection on November 30, 2020. During the conference, the speakers discussed the role of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - N.A. Nazarbayev in the fateful decision to abandon the world's fourth nuclear arsenal and to close the Semipalatinsk test site. 

The on-line conference was attended by teachers, college students and invited guests. Dyusenbaeva Anar Amantayevna, Deputy Director for Scientific Work of Akmola Regional Historical and Cultural History Museum, made a report “The Leader's Way in the Museum Exposition”. The conference ended with a discussion of the film, based on 7 initiatives of the First President Nursultan Nazarbayev, "Wise Decision".
