On February 19, 2025, the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defence College held an awareness-raising event on preventing the spread of synthetic drugs among teenagers. The event was held as part of the Step to a Healthy Life programme.

Following speakers addressed the students:

- Lieutenant Colonel of Police Kursanova R.T. (PD of Akmola region);

- Police Captain A.K. Imanbaev (PD of Akmola region);

- Psychologist of the clinic ‘Panacea’ U.S. Amanbaeva.

The students were shown a preventive video ‘Bookmarks’, explained the consequences of use and criminal responsibility for distribution of narcotic drugs.

At the end of the meeting, the participants were able to ask questions and receive qualified answers. Such events contribute to the formation of an informed attitude towards a healthy lifestyle and help young people avoid dangerous situations.
