On May 30, 2024, the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defence College hosted an event dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of Victims of Political Repression and Holodomor. The event began with watching a documentary. A minute of silence was held in memory of the victims.

Teachers of the Department of Pedagogical and General Education disciplines Akhmetov A.K. and Kasimova M.D., as well as students of the PMNO-12B group Krasutskaya Arina and the OK-11B group Meyrbek Adilet made presentations in which they noted the importance of this tragic period in the history of Kazakhstan.
