On November 3, 2023, in honor of the 100th anniversary of KSU “Secondary School No. 4”, a chess tournament was held in the city of Kokshetau.

In the personal competition, a student of the Higher Multidisciplinary College of Civil Defense, group ChS-42A Kuandykov Talgat took 1st place, a student of the TZh-41A group Zhabenova Kundyz took 3rd place and a student of the ӨҚ-21B group Nurymuly Dauken took 3rd place.
