On September 18, 2023, an event on the theme «We know Abai, we read and appreciate him!» was held at the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defence College, within the framework of the Reading College project. 

This event is dedicated to the memory of the great poet Abai Kunanbayev and his contribution to the culture and literature of Kazakhstan. The event is organized to promote the creativity and heritage of the great Kazakh poet.
