From February 18 to 21, 2023, the championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan among young people in combat sambo was held in Aktau.

Anas Nurkesh, a student of the Higher Multidisciplinary College of Civil Protection, CHS-32A group, took second place in the 79 kg weight category.
