On February 7, 2023, the Higher Multidisciplinary College of Civil Protection, together with the Akmola Regional Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS, held a lecture on «About HIV in simple words» among first-year students. As part of the lecture, students also had the opportunity to undergo an express HIV test.

Students got acquainted with information about transmission routes, prevention measures and treatment options for HIV infection.
