From April 1 to April 3, the Kazakhstan Men's Wushu Sanda Championship was held in Talgar.

A student of the DT-31 group of the Higher Multidisciplinary College of Civil Protection, Makishev Aybat, took second place in the 52 kg weight category and fulfilled the Master of Sports standard. Also, Anas Nurkesh of the CHS-32A group and Aslan Kodzoev of the TJ-31G group took third place in the 56 and 80 kg weight category and become candidates for the master of sports in Wushu Sanda.
