On February 24, 2021, online on the ZOOM platform, a meeting of the Council of Curators of the Higher Multidisciplinary College of Civil Protection was held on the topic: "Prevention of juvenile delinquency" with the participation of Deputy Director for educational work - Shaikhina G.Zh. and group curators.
The agenda of the meeting was the following:
- «Prevention of crimes and offenses, education of the legal consciousness of students»;
- «Criminal and administrative responsibility of minors in the Republic of Kazakhstan»;
- «Prevention of early pregnancy among minors»;
- «Prevention of unauthorized departure of minors»;
- «Prevention of suicidal behavior».
The moderator of the curatorial council was the deputy director for educational work Shaikhina G.Zh. She began her speech with the fact that the younger generation of Kazakhstanis should be brought up by versatile personalities with a positive creative worldview, strong moral foundations, a sense of responsibility, the ability to make an informed choice and take independent solutions aimed at the good of the Fatherland. She explained to all curators about the responsibility of legal representatives of minors for offenses. She paid great attention to the responsibility of students' parents for smoking in public places and drinking alcoholic beverages by minors. She talked about the sequence in which students are registered internally in a college who have committed a wrongful misconduct, and in which case a teenager is removed from the register. Members of the board of curators, from among experienced teachers, the curators were given recommendations on how to prevent offenses and crimes.
