On April 30, 2024, the «Arbat of Friendship» was held at the Higher Multidisciplinary Civil Defence College, as part of the celebration of the Day of Unity of the people of Kazakhstan. The curators and the educational department of the college organized the event.

The curators, together with groups of students, demonstrated the diversity of national traditions by presenting dishes of national cuisine, traditional costumes and other elements of the cultural heritage of various peoples. This event was a vivid illustration of cultural diversity and mutual understanding. 

Following the results, the following winners were announced:

• Grand Prix - UIA-12 group, curator Saduova S.A., presented the culture of the Koreans.
• 1st place - groups BA-11 and PB-12A, curators Usina S.S. and Ibraeva G.E., presented the culture of the Tatars.
• 2nd place - groups TJ-11B and PV-12, curators Bekzhanova M.E. and Beknazar Aidana, presented the culture of the Uighurs.
• 3rd place - MNO-12A group, curator A.A. Syzdykova, presented the culture of the Poles.
